The Company was informed on 15 August 2008 that the Management Board of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park in Socialist Republic of Vietnam has approved the Group's application for the registration of a limited liability company with the name of APM Auto Components (Vietnam) Co.,Ltd., and an investment certificate for the manufacture of automotive seats and components, shock absorbers, radiators and air-conditioner parts. The investment certificate was dated 8 August 2008.
The new company will have a registered investment capital of USD1,100,000 and a charter capital of USD330,000. It will be wholly-owned by APM Automotive International Ltd which is a 100% owned subsidiary of APM Automotive Holdings Berhad.
The registration of the new company will have no material impact on the earnings and net tangible assets of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2008.
None of the directors and substantial shareholders of the Company have any interest, direct or indirect, in the registration. |
