Reference is made to the Company's announcements on 20 December 2006 (Ref No. AA-061220-42991) and 22 February 2007 (Ref No. AA-070222-34545) in relation to the Automotive Suspension Business in Indonesia.
The Company is pleased to inform that it is in receipt of the letter from Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (Capital Investment Coordinating Board) of the Republic of Indonesia dated 19 February 2007 giving approval for the joint-venture between the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Auto Parts Holdings Sdn Bhd and PT Mekar Armada Jaya, holding equity interest in the ratio of 60:40 respectively, to carry on the business of manufacturing and sale of automotive coil springs and multi-leaf springs in Indonesia for domestic and export markets.
The conditions of the said approval are acceptable to both parties.
